We all face moments when the weight of our problems feels too heavy to bear. In times of doubt, fear, or hopelessness, it can be hard to find the right words to ask for God’s help. Following the success of his book Give Up Worry for Lent!, Zimak now offers Lord, Save Me!, a treasury of 120 prayers designed to help you surrender your worries to God. This book addresses ten common situations that often cause worry, for each one offering: A scripture verse that speaks directly to the struggle you are facing, A practical reflection that sheds light on your burdens through the lens of faith, An original, personal prayer to guide you in reaching out to the Lord. With Lord, Save Me!, Zimak provides a trustworthy resource filled with insights and prayers to help you navigate suffering and rediscover your trust in Jesus Christ—the friend, Lord, and Savior who brings us peace and the fullness of life. “Even though Jesus is a real person who loves us and is capable of easing our burdens,” Zimak writes, “we can sometimes lose sight of that in the middle of a crisis. I wrote this book to remind you of that fact and to help you connect with him in the middle of the storm. Jesus is real and will help you just as he helped sinking Peter. No matter how you feel, lean on your faith and give him a chance. He won’t let you down.”
