Loppers

Classic Japanese lopping shears with heavy-duty forged blades and strong oak handles. Suitable for branches up to 2.5cm/1", although as some species are harder than others this is only a guide, and common sense should tell you when to stop. Attack larger branches at a 45˚angle and whatever you do, do not rely on the handles to do the cutting – they are wood and you can snap them with enough lever pressure. If the blades aren’t coping, sharpen them and try again, or use a pruning saw. Includes vinyl sheath. Dimensions: 24" x 7.4" x 1.1" Materials: S60C Steel and Japanese White Oak handles. Please note: By law, we are not permitted to sell a knife or blade to any person under the age of 18. By placing an order for one of these items you are declaring that you are 18 years of age or over. These items must be used responsibly and appropriately.
