The precision fine-mesh basket is designed to allow maximum water flow for flavor extraction while keeping even small tea particles from escaping into your drink. Is the wooden tray water-resistant? The tray is made of natural beech wood. While it is designed to hold the damp infuser after use, we recommend wiping it dry occasionally to maintain the wood's finish and longevity. Are there any safety precautions? Because the stainless steel mesh is engineered to be very fine for better filtration, the edges can be delicate. We recommend adult use and suggest it may not be suitable for small children or the elderly.
