Loop Yarn by Jody Long

Loop takes the same beautifully balanced fiber blend as Loft and brings it to a versatile medium-weight gauge. Spun from 36% acrylic, 26% alpaca, 26% virgin wool, and 12% polyester, Loop combines comforting warmth and softness with an easygoing feel that makes it equally at home in garments and accessories. Each 100-gram skein contains 273 yards, offering generous yardage for a yarn with so much cozy character. Knitting at 16–17 stitches per 4 inches on US 7 needles, Loop creates a fabric with beautiful body while remaining comfortable and wearable. Use it for sweaters, cardigans, scarves, hats, textured stitches, or everyday layers that call for warmth without too much bulk. Loop is available in the same eight coordinated shades as Loft, making the two yarns natural companions for projects that play with gauge, texture, and dimension. Jody Long’s collection even includes designs that feature Loft and Loop together.
