Loon Lake Hat Knitting Pattern

I also love adding bits of contrast colors to simple designs as a way to play with my yarn stash. The Loon Lake Hat is meant to show off how you can play with Malabrigo Caracol and Rasta together, but any two super bulky yarns can be used. This hat pattern comes with instructions to make a quick and simple hat with less than one skein of Malabrigo Rasta and a bit of an accent color using Malabrigo Caracol. The pattern is written for four sizes, child, teen/adult s/m, adult l/xl and adult xxl. The hat is knit in the round from the bottom up. It can be easily adapted by an experienced knitter to be larger or smaller as needed. Uses US 11 (8.0 mm) and US 13 (9.0 mm) 16" circular needles and US 13 (9.0 mm) DPNs.
