Loon™ - Core Fly Tying Kit Everything a bench-built legend needs — or at least everything a first-time tyer thinks they need until they start bragging about their dry flies. The Loon™ Core Fly Tying Kit arrives in a heavy-duty travel case and looks way more professional than your first dozen tangled threads. Perfect for the angler who wants a tidy bench, the curious beginner, or the friend you promised to make a fly-fishing person out of. Built for AXG Life — Life, Adventure-Ready — this kit gives you the tools to tie, tweak, and show off without rummaging through a tackle box graveyard. Key Features & Design Heavy-duty travel case — protects your tools and keeps everything in its place (no more socks full of hooks). Ergo All Purpose Scissors — precise cuts, comfortable grip; because clean edges make neat flies. Ergo All Purpose Bobbin — smooth thread delivery for consistent wraps and fewer swear words. Ergo Bodkin — pokes, teases, and tidies materials with surgical indifference. Ergo Whip Finisher — finish knots that won’t unravel when you’re mid-cast (or mid-brag). Ergo Hackle Plier — holds hackle with authority so your flies look like they actually intend to fly. Performance & Benefits This kit turns scattered tools and questionable improvisation into a streamlined tying experience. The ergonomic series reduces hand fatigue during marathon tying sessions, while the bobbin and whip finisher deliver consistent wraps so your flies behave like they were meant to be caught — not ignored. Compact and protected in a travel-ready case, it’s ideal for bench use or taking to the streamside tying circle. Whether you’re crafting a neat dry fly for calm-water seduction or patching up a last-minute nymph, these tools help turn stuck weekends into hero stories — and questionable decisions into memorable casts. AXG Life: Life, Adventure-Ready. Toss this kit in your gear bag and make your next fishing tale actually believable. Add the Loon™ Core Fly Tying Kit to your cart — then go tie something worth telling.
