Dr. Loomis Fan Club (Halloween/Donald Pleasance as Dr. Loomis)

Dr. Loomis Fan Club — (Donald Pleasence Era) “I shot him six times!” Before final girls became franchise icons, before reboots softened the edges, there was Dr. Sam Loomis — as portrayed by Donald Pleasence — the trench-coated prophet of doom from the original Halloween and its sequels. Wild-eyed. Relentless. Forever one step behind pure evil. Loomis wasn’t the hero in the traditional sense. He was the warning. The only man in Haddonfield who truly understood that Michael Myers wasn’t just a killer — he was “purely and simply evil.” And Donald Pleasence played him at full intensity: Breathless monologues. Desperate parking-lot showdowns. Revolver clenched in trembling hand.
