Truth be told, it was the whispers that I would sometimes catch in life that refreshed my soul. Whispers on an autumn day beneath rustling leaves that reminded me that the world is such a beautiful place. Whispers in my weakness, with eyes shrouded in tears, that would knock upon my heart’s door to let healing inside. Whispers when the joy could not be contained that sounded like divine laughter. Whispers when I wondered if I am loved that undoubtedly assured me I am. This album is an attempt to catch those whispers and place them in a jar to shine for at least a little while.  The only way we can attempt to hear those life-giving whispers is to quiet the noise that oftentimes echoes loudest from within. The only way to find that quiet is to draw near to the source of the very whispers we seek. It is in the presence of Jesus that weakness becomes strength and a tender heart becomes a powerful force. Our hope is that this album can be a companion to walk with you through the distractions, noise and storms of life, a respite in times of trouble, a celebration of thankfulness, the melody of a friend whenever you’re in need.
