Look 795 Blade 3 RS Frameset

The Look 795 Blade 3 RS Frameset gives riders and builders access to Look's flagship aero road platform without a pre-selected groupset or wheel package attached. It's the same Ultra High Modulus Carbon frame and fork that Look develops and races with its Cofidis WorldTour team, sold as a bare platform so a rider can build it around the exact drivetrain, wheels, and gearing they want rather than what came in a stock build. Look designs the Blade RS around what it calls holistic gains — aerodynamics, weight, and power transfer treated as one problem instead of three separate ones. Look states that this generation of the frame saves 15 watts over its predecessor, an estimate the brand bases on the Tour Magazin wind tunnel protocol using its own internal data. Look also lists the bare frame at roughly 890 grams and the fork at roughly 340 grams, figures that make the weight savings of a custom build worth chasing for a rider set on hitting a specific target weight. The Ultra High Modulus Carbon layup is aimed at keeping that low weight without giving up the stiffness a hard acceleration or a sprint effort demands, and Look backs the frame and fork with a lifetime warranty. Buying the frameset means handling a few build requirements directly. The bottom bracket shell is T47 at 85.5mm, and the front derailleur mount is braze-on, so a builder needs to confirm groupset compatibility with those standards before ordering parts. Thru axles are included with the frameset, the headset is integrated, and Look's own Aeropost 5 Carbon seatpost comes as part of the package. Max tire clearance sits at 34mm, which leaves room to run wider tires than the 700x29 spec on Look's own complete builds if a rider wants more comfort or better rough-road grip. The frameset spans six sizes, XXS through XL, one size smaller than Look offers on its complete bike builds, making the platform more accessible to smaller riders who want the same frame the brand's WorldTour team races. Look hand-builds the Blade RS in Burgundy, France, continuing a construction process refined across roughly 40 years of racing history — the same lineage that includes an original 795 raced to a WorldTour win by Cofidis before this generation was even publicly announced. That heritage shows up less in any single spec and more in the fact that Look develops this frame with feedback from riders racing it at the top level of the sport, then sells the exact same platform to anyone building their own bike around it. This frameset suits a rider who already knows what they want on the bike — a specific electronic groupset, a particular wheel brand, a gearing range dialed to their local terrain — and doesn't want to pay for or strip off components they'd replace anyway. It's a strong option for a rider upgrading from a previous-generation Blade RS who wants to keep a trusted parts kit while moving to the newer, more aerodynamically refined frame, or for anyone building a race bike from the frame up with a very specific parts list in mind. For a builder who wants Look's race pedigree as the foundation and full control over everything bolted to it, the 795 Blade RS frameset is the starting point.
