Long Queen Marking Tube

Long Queen Marking Tube The Long Queen Marking Tube is a simple, effective tool designed to safely confine and mark your queen bee. It functions like the standard queen marking tube but includes an additional side opening that makes capturing the queen directly from the frame quick and easy. This tool allows beekeepers to mark their queens for easy identification during inspections or management without handling them directly. The queen naturally walks into the tube through the side opening, and the plunger can then be used to gently guide her against the soft mesh screen for marking. Once marked, the queen can be safely released back into the hive. Key Features and Benefits Safe confinement: Allows you to mark queens without direct handling. Side-entry design: Capture the queen easily from the comb. Gentle plunger system: Keeps the queen secure against a mesh screen for marking. Durable, reusable construction. Compatible with queen marking pens. Detailed Description This long-style queen marking tube offers a practical design for beekeepers who prefer to capture and mark their queens directly from the comb. The side opening provides an easy entrance for the queen, and once she walks inside, the plunger is used to gently move her toward the mesh end of the tube. With the queen safely held against the screen, she can be marked on the thorax using a queen marking pen. The transparent tube design makes it easy to see and handle the queen carefully during the process. This tool is ideal for both beginners and experienced beekeepers looking to maintain organized and well-managed hives through color-coded queen marking.
