Known by various spellings and names, Long Jing (aka Lung Ching, Dragonwell, or variants thereof) has a very distinctive shape: smooth and flattened along the inside vein of the leaf. The shape is the result of highly skilled shaping in a hot wok. This process, known as pan-firing, was perfected in China by tea masters over many centuries. It gives the tea an inviting, toasty aroma. Green teas like Dragonwell have mild caffeine levels and contain antioxidant polyphenols and l-theanine amino acids. Long Jing has a sweet, rounded flavor, and pleasantly dry finish. Long Jing green teas originated in the vicinity of the West Lake of Hangzhou, China. Contains caffeine. Allergen free. Non-GMO.
