Long Emerald Cut Diamond Platinum Engagement Ring

This amazing vintage Diamond engagement ring is the perfect choice for a discerning buyer. The classically styled platinum 3-stone ring features a central emerald cut Diamond flanked by tapered baguette Diamonds- the classic Tiffany style of the 1950s. However, there is nothing ordinary about this ring. The center Diamond is one of the most beautiful natural Diamonds we have ever offered for sale, cut into an elongated emerald cut with amazing proportions. The Diamond measures 9.5mm long by 5.4mm wide, weighing approximately 1.75cts- a showstopper! The combination of large size and amazing clarity make this Diamond an ultra-sparkler and true knockout. If you’ve been looking for the perfect mid century engagement ring, or anniversary upgrade, this should be a contender. Details: mid century 900 platinum ring set with a 1.75ct Diamond (natural, VS2 G) and .20ctw baguette Diamond accents (VS GH); circa 1955. Two notes: 1) the ring is signed and numbered but the signature is sadly faded beyond recognition 2) the Diamond has an internal clarity grade in the VVS range but has been conservatively graded due to two miniscule chips on the girdle; these do not negatively impact its brilliance or durability.
