Lombok Pepper Seeds

The Lombok Chili pepper gets its namesake from the Indonesian island of Lombok where it originated from. Eventually, this pepper made its way to America, and has become a popular chili pepper to use! These pepper plants grow well in most environments and can reach heights of up to 3 ft. – even higher when planted directly into the ground. Lombok pepper plants boast high yields of these 6” long peppers that ripen to a bright, shiny red color at maturity. Pods are cone-shaped that taper off to a straight or curved point. The points of these fruits don’t have any heat, which allows them to be eaten fresh like sweet peppers. Because of their great taste and sweet mild flavor, Lombok peppers have many culinary uses. In Indonesia, they are mostly pureed into a paste called Sambal, but others have used these peppers for roasting and adding to fresh foods. Looking to grow peppers with just the right amount of heat?
