The Classic layout has 60+ shortcuts focused on the Cut and Edit pages — ideal for editors who primarily work in the timeline. The Pro layout has 160+ shortcuts covering all DaVinci Resolve pages: Edit, Cut, Color, Fairlight, Fusion, and Delivery. The Pro also features an aluminum chassis and dual Bluetooth device pairing. If you work across the full DaVinci Resolve suite, the Pro is the right choice. Is this keyboard compatible with Mac only, or also Windows? This model (LKB-RESB-TM-US) is designed and mapped for macOS, iPadOS, and iOS. The shortcut labels correspond to Mac modifier keys (Command, Option). If you use DaVinci Resolve on Windows, see our TITAN for Windows instead. Can I pair this keyboard with two Apple devices at the same time? Yes. The TITAN Pro supports Bluetooth 5.1 with dual-device pairing — you can pair with two compatible Apple devices (e.g., a Mac and an iPad) and switch between them without re-pairing. This is a Pro-exclusive feature not available on the Classic model. Does the backlighting illuminate the DaVinci Resolve shortcut labels? Yes. The white LED backlighting illuminates both the standard key characters and the color-coded DaVinci Resolve shortcut labels, making them clearly visible in dim editing suites and color-controlled rooms. How long does the battery last and how do I charge it? The 1500 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery lasts up to 300 hours with backlighting off, or up to 40 hours with backlighting on at the lowest setting. Recharge time is approximately 4.5 hours via the included USB-C to USB-C cable. The keyboard can be used while charging in wired mode. Is the aluminum chassis worth the upgrade over the Classic? For daily professional use, yes. The aluminum chassis provides a more rigid, premium feel and greater long-term durability compared to the plastic body of the Classic. If you're in a professional studio environment or using the keyboard for 6+ hours a day, the Pro's build quality is a meaningful upgrade. Is this keyboard good for color grading and Fairlight audio work? Yes — this is one of the key advantages of the Pro layout over the Classic. The Pro includes dedicated shortcuts for the Color page (node navigation, qualifier controls, grade management) and the Fairlight page (audio editing, mixing, effects). For colorists and audio engineers, the Pro layout is significantly more useful than the Classic. Will using a shortcut keyboard actually speed up my DaVinci Resolve workflow? Yes — for most editors, a dedicated shortcut keyboard significantly reduces the time spent navigating menus and searching for commands. The color-coded Pro layout accelerates muscle memory development across all DaVinci Resolve pages. Many professional post-production studios standardize on shortcut keyboards for exactly this reason.
