Log Cabin Mug Rugs

Log Cabin Mug Rug Weaving Kit This Log Cabin Mug Rug Weaving Kit is a fun and satisfying project that highlights the magic of color-and-weave. Using the classic log cabin structure, you’ll create bold blocks of color that shift and play as you weave—simple to weave, yet endlessly interesting. Designed for rigid heddle or multi shaft weavers, this kit is perfect for trying log cabin for the first time or for a quick, relaxing project between larger weaves. The mug rugs make wonderful gifts and are just the right size to enjoy your favorite cup of coffee or tea. Each kit includes clear, step-by-step instructions and enough yarn to weave six mug rugs (and possibly a few extra if your loom waste is minimal). You’ll learn how alternating light and dark yarns in the warp and weft create striking patterns, all while weaving plain weave. Use the drop-down menu to choose your favorite color option.
