This floor framing is by far the strongest floor I have ever walked on in a house. The materials on all sides and within are excellent. Code standards and building practices for construction have been used a licensed contractor and building inspector. Estimated weight capacity, 14,000 pounds. Building this strong makes you want all your floors built this way. Mixed species of lumber (oak, cherry, maple) on top of the floor, with a safe, water-based finish brushed on.
