Butthole Surfers — Locust Abortion Technician Promo Tee (1987) Released in 1987, Locust Abortion Technician is one of the most confrontational records to ever skirt the edges of punk, noise, and psychedelia. The Butthole Surfers weren’t interested in comfort, clarity, or good taste—they specialized in sensory overload, absurdity, and the deliberate collapse of meaning. The album sounded hostile, funny, grotesque, and strangely precise, daring listeners to either lean in or walk away.
