LIVEWIRE DOWNRIGGER PLANER BOARD ROD

New for 2024!      From the undisputed leader in all things trolling gear, it was time to put our coveted custom downrigger/planer board trolling rods on the market for all of our customers to enjoy. Specifically designed to handle any sized fish from walleye to 30lb+ kings...and everything in between.    The Livewire is the ultimate downrigger rod, with plenty of butt strength to muscle big kings to the boat and around other rods.    It's sensitive tip allows you to read your 200+ foot rigger setups with extreme blowback when dragging shaker lakers around out deep. The backbone allows you to pull wide planer board setups, running flatlines in early spring for coho, again with a sensitive enough tip to detect shakers and garbage dragging back your planer boards. Need an ultimate planer board rod for pulling stickbaits for walleye on Lake Erie?   The Livewire downrigger/planer rod is your ticket to landing more fish close to the boat when walleye love to do their thing right before the net.    The sensitive tip allows for thrashing head shakes without fear of pulling hooks loose. The Livewire downrigger planer board fishing rod can run braid or mono, particularly suited for our 16lb Tournament Mono for Walleye, and Bloodline Braid for those far down downrigger sets targeting leviathans of the deep. No glass here, super strong and sensitive high grade carbon blanks with comfortable grips for epic long battles with line burning kings. Want a new rod to pull some short leadcore setups for walleye, coho or steelhead?   The Livewire Downrigger/Planer board rod from Blood Run is the perfect fishing rod for shallow leadcore sets for walleye, trout and salmon.    The silky smooth guides will not hang up your connections, and the sensitive tip will let your shallow cores snake away behind your boat. Upgrade your downrigger and planer board rods with the Livewire only from Blood Run Fishing.   On sale now for the early birds ready to make the move to the next level in their trolling game.
