After Charlie’s passing, friends, family, teammates, and the community gathered in the water to honor him the only way that felt right — together, in the ocean. From above, the paddle out became more than a memorial. It became a symbol of love, loss, brotherhood, and the lasting impact one life can have on so many others. For this design, we reconstructed that original drone shot as a tribute to that moment. The boards, the circle, and the people in the water all represent a community coming together to remember Charlie and carry his legacy forward.
