Lithops fulviceps 'aurea'

Lithops fulviceps 'aurea'  A golden yellow form of this normally gray to orange Living Stones species with polka dots. The body is yellow and the polka dots are green. Very few species have these dots and this species shows them more prominently than any other species. Produces yellow flowers in the fall. Lithops have an undeserved reputation for being difficult.  The really aren't as long as you pay attention to its particular needs. Unlike most plants Lithops have two growing seasons and two dormant seasons per year. Overwatering is the biggest risk in growing these plants. Give water as the soil is about to dry out in the spring through early summer, and in the fall.  Keep dryer in the winter and in very hot summer weather. Hot weather makes them and most mesembs go dormant, and wet roots during dormancy can lead to rot. Protect from frost. You will receive a plant shown in the last image or one similar. Plant shown in a 4" group pot. You will receive one individual plant.  Important Shipping Information PLANTS ARE SHIPPED BARE ROOT If you want me to send them in pots send me a message to discuss. Extra charges due to increased shipping costs will apply. Immediate Payment (eBay only) Sorry! I can no longer offer a delayed purchase option as the multichannel inventory management system I have started using requires this setting. No Delayed Shipping (eBay only) Once you pay I have to (and WILL) ship within 3 business days or eBay will lower my seller rating. I used to have a way to delay shipping but can no longer do this for the same reason as #2 above. Feel free to message me before buying to see if we can figure something out here, no promises though. Winter Shipping If you live in a cold climate consider including a 96 hour heat pack in your order during the cold months. I have them as a listing. Just add it to your order. If you don’t see them just message me. Thank you!
