Liquid Chlorine 12.5% 4 Gallon/Case

Liquid chlorine is commonly used in pools or spas for several reasons: Sanitization: Liquid chlorine, also known as liquid bleach or sodium hypochlorite, is a powerful sanitizer that effectively kills bacteria, viruses, and other harmful microorganisms in the water. It helps maintain clean and safe water conditions for swimmers. Convenience: Liquid chlorine is relatively easy to use and can be added directly to the pool or spa water. It dissolves quickly and evenly, allowing for efficient distribution of chlorine throughout the water. Quick Results: Liquid chlorine provides rapid disinfection compared to other forms of chlorine, such as chlorine tablets or granules. It works almost instantly upon contact with the water, ensuring prompt sanitization. pH Control: While liquid chlorine has high pH and initially raises pH when added, chlorine consumption/usage lowers pH so the net pH change is close to neutral (a small rise from the excess lye in the product). Versatility: Liquid chlorine is versatile and can be used for both regular maintenance and shock treatments. It can effectively oxidize organic contaminants and chloramines, which can cause unpleasant odors and irritate swimmers' eyes and skin. It is important to note that when using liquid chlorine, proper dosing and monitoring of chlorine levels are essential to ensure effective sanitation and to prevent overchlorination. Regular water testing and adjustments are necessary to maintain optimal water balance and ensure a safe and enjoyable swimming or spa experience.   *We support local suppliers and having a minimal carbon footprint so the brand you receive may vary.
