The Lip Treatment

A TREATMENT-BASED APPROACH TO DRY LIPS Most lip balms temporarily soften the lips by coating the surface with waxes and occlusive ingredients, often creating a cycle of constant reapplication without improving long-term lip condition. The Biba Los Angeles Lip Treatment was developed to help restore hydration balance and improve lip comfort rather than relying on heavy surface coating alone. WHY LIPS OFTEN STAY DRY Dry, reactive lips are frequently over-coated but under-supported. This formula takes a treatment-driven approach using sunflower oil to replenish, squalane and amino acids to support moisture balance, peptides to help refine lip texture, and CoQ10 for antioxidant support. The goal is to help lips feel softer, smoother, and less reactive over time rather than temporarily masked with heavy waxes. LIGHTWEIGHT HYDRATION WITHOUT HEAVINESS The texture is smooth, lightweight, and comfortable for daily wear, including under or over lipstick. With continued use, lips often feel more balanced and less dependent on constant reapplication. The formula also works effectively as an overnight lip treatment to help reduce visible flaking and restore softness by morning. DEVELOPED FOR SENSITIVE, DRY, AND REACTIVE LIPS Fragrance-free and flavorless, this lip treatment was formulated for sensitive lips and focuses on improving lip condition without unnecessary additives. Developed by a clinical facialist and tested in real treatment settings, the formula reflects observed performance rather than trend-driven formulation. IS THIS A TRADITIONAL LIP BALM? No. This is a treatment-based lip formula designed to help improve hydration balance and lip condition over time rather than simply coating the lips temporarily. CAN I USE THIS UNDER LIPSTICK? Yes. The lightweight texture wears comfortably under or over lipstick without feeling heavy or overly glossy. CAN THIS BE USED AS AN OVERNIGHT LIP TREATMENT? Yes. Many clients use it overnight to help soften dry, flaky lips and improve comfort by morning. Healthier lips often come from supporting hydration balance consistently — not from constantly reapplying heavier lip balms.
