SIZE: .2 oz cardboard tube INGREDIENTS: Beeswax*, Shea Butter*, Sunflower Oil*, Coconut Oil*, Vitamin E Oil, Essential Oils* *organic  BREAKDOWN OF INGREDIENTS: Beeswax- Forms a thin, non-allergenic barrier over the skin without clogging the pores. It helps to moisturize, soften, and heal skin tissue while protecting it from harmful environmental factors. Beeswax is also know to have antimicrobial, antioxidant, and hydrophobic properties (meaning it repels water!).  Shea Butter- One of nature’s richest moisturizers, shea butter is abundant in vitamin c and fatty acids which have been shown to improve the skin barrier without clogging your pores! Shea butter is well known for it’s hydrating qualities and reputed effectiveness in softening scars. And on top of that, it also possesses potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, making it a wonderful addition to your skin care regime.  Sunflower Oil- Sunflower seed oil is rich in important vitamins and nutrients such as oleic acids, lecithin, unsaturated fatty acids, and vitamins A, D, and E. It absorbs easily without clogging pores and can help to maintain the skin barrier, decrease transepidermal moisture loss, and help regenerate new skin cells. It has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties that help to decrease the risk of infection and neutralize free radicals that penetrate your skin and cause sun damage.  Coconut oil helps to improve skin hydration, reduce dryness, and protect the skin from UV radiation. Keeping your skin hydrated is imperative to help preserve it’s barrier function to keep out bacteria, promote scar healing, and maintain overall skin integrity. The lauric acid content in coconut oil has antimicrobial properties that can aid in protecting against harmful microorganisms and the growth of bacteria that causes many types of skin infections such as acne, cellulitis, folliculitis, and athlete’s foot. Coconut oil may also help relieve inflammation by improving antioxidant status, which works by stabilizing free radicals in the body and neutralizing the reactive atoms that contribute to inflammation. Studies have shown coconut oil to increase levels of collagen, an important protein that aids in wound healing while at the same time, preventing infection that could complicate the healing process. Coconut oil is essential to keep your skin healthy, moisturized, and blemish free! Vitamin E- Has antioxidative and anti-inflammatory properties which can help protect skin from adverse effects of oxidative stress, including photoaging. Vitamin E also moisturizes and helps prevent UV-induced free radical damage to skin.  ..............................................................................
