Link V9 Upgrade

Jaltest Link V9 Upgrade Program The Jaltest Link V9 Upgrade Program (part number 29109, 95) is Cojali USA's official transition package for shops retiring an older Jaltest Link in favor of the current V9 generation interface. If you are running a Jaltest Link V7 or V8 and your device is aging out — or if you want the faster communication speed and lighter design of the V9 before your old unit becomes unrepairable — this is the structured upgrade path. Starting January 1, 2025, Cojali USA no longer repairs devices older than V9, so continuing to rely on an older link carries increasing operational risk. What the V9 Upgrade Includes This is not just a hardware swap. The V9 Upgrade Program replaces your aging Link with the current interface and includes the updated cables that work with it: Jaltest Link V9 interface (part 70001015) — the current-generation Jaltest diagnostic hardware interface; faster protocol handling, lighter weight (76% reduction in weight vs. older links), Bluetooth connectivity JDC107.9 USB cable (V9) — updated USB cable matched to the V9 connector JDC211A Deutsch 6-pin diagnostics cable — standard 6-pin connector for J1708/J1939 connections JDC217.9 Deutsch 9-pin Type 2 green cable (V9) — standard 9-pin SAE J1939 diagnostic connector, V9 version JDC213.9 OBD diagnostics cable (V9) — OBD-II adapter cable for passenger car and light truck OBD connections with OEM software 70002001 Multipin Kit — the full set of JTP01–JTP10 multipin connectors plus JDC10AM2 and JDC20AM2 cables; required for many heavy-duty and specialty applications Why Upgrade to V9 Now No more repairs on pre-V9 devices as of January 1, 2025 — Cojali USA will not repair devices older than V9; if your old link fails, it is not fixable Fastest available diagnostic speed — V9 offers the fastest communication speed in the Jaltest lineup for faster ECU reads and live data 76% weight reduction — significantly lighter than older links; easier to handle in tight spaces and less fatigue during full-day diagnostic sessions All essential cables included — the upgrade kit covers the baseline cables you need to get started on commercial vehicles immediately Protects your software investment — your existing Jaltest CV, OHW, AGV, or Marine license continues to work; this is a hardware upgrade, not a new system purchase What This Is Not The V9 Upgrade Program is not a full Jaltest CV Kit (part 29209). It provides the hardware and cables, but your existing software license must be active and in good standing. If your license has lapsed, you will need to address renewal separately. Also note: some cables from older Jaltest Link versions are not compatible with the V9 without the JDC100 extension adapter — check with us on your specific cable inventory before ordering if you have an extensive cable library.
