Discontinued by Linear. The MGR-2 is the updated version. The Linear MDR-2 is a 2-channel MegaCode external receiver on 318 MHz with relay outputs. It stores up to 10 transmitters, and memory is kept without power. It normally runs on 24 V AC or DC from the garage door or gate operator. Size is 5.5 in x 1.25 in x 4 in. It plugs onto the back of the operator's terminals, or mounts on a wall or stud with the supplied bracket, which fits the case in three positions. A wire lead antenna is attached. Each channel learns its own transmitters; the same button cannot be set to both channels. What's Included MDR-2 receiver Mounting bracket Before You Order The MGR-2 is a 2-channel gate receiver that runs on 12-30 VAC or 10.5-30 VDC, stores 40 transmitters and has two 5 A relays with a remote antenna kit. Check wiring and mounting before swapping. Operators that supply a voltage other than 24 V, or two-terminal operators, need the Linear TF524 step-down transformer, sold separately. Works with Linear MegaCode transmitters and keypads (318 MHz). Does not work with Linear Multi-Code or Delta-3 DIP switch receivers.
