Lind Chair

We rented a house in the English countryside while visiting relatives, and I was delighted that one of the bedrooms had a pair of twin-size spindle beds. I’ve long loved their knobby shape and have found that depending on how you paint and style them, they are right at home in several different decors. I decided to try making a spindle chair, and the result is the Lind Chair. It’s wide and stocky, with thick cushions in linen with a black teak frame, and spindles running along the back supports, arms, and legs for an extra dose of texture and charm.
