Limnophila Aromatica

Limnophila Aromatica is a beautiful aquatic stem plant. Hailing from Asia, Limnophila Aromatica features large, narrow green leaves with a purple hue on its underside. Limnophila Aromatica is quite large when cared for properly and makes a great addition to the background of larger planted aquarium tanks. This aquatic stem plant's coloration depends greatly on the type of environment it is kept in and quality aquarium LED lighting along with CO2 injection promotes healthy growth significantly. Like other aquatic stem plants, Limnophila Aromatica is easy to propagate and can be done by cutting at the stem and replanting it into quality aquarium soil. This aquatic plant can grow at a quick pace requiring consistent trims to achieve the bushy effect that is sought after by planted tank enthusiasts. We recommend this plant for aquarists looking for a unique background aquatic plant! It is also said that Limnophila Aromatica earns its name from the scent it gives off when its leaves are crushed!
