Lime Essential Oil - 15 mL

View GC/MS Report Cold-pressed from the peel of fresh limes, Simple Matters Lime essential oil has a bright, refreshing, and inspiring scent that can be diffused or applied topically. Limes have a high limonene content, so diffusing it helps purify the air, eliminate odors, and lift your spirits.  Lime essential oil is a great choice for diffusing in play areas, classrooms, and kitchens due to its uplifting and versatile qualities. Lime is also known for its ability to support radiant skin! Add a couple of drops to your favorite moisturizer before bedtime for healthier-looking skin. Because Lime is a citrus oil, it may cause photosensitivity, so be sure to avoid applying it before spending time outdoors or in the sun.    Lime Essential Oil Uses:  Add to coconut or jojoba oil for a calming and refreshing massage. For topical application dilute at a 1:1 ratio. Boost your home cleaning efforts with the refreshing scent of limes. Add a few drops to natural cleaning solutions to improve the scent. Do not use lime oil on granite or stone, as it may etch the surface. Make Lime essential oil part of your beauty routine by adding it to skin care products to promote healthier, more radiant skin.   Diffuse Lime alone or with other complimenting oils such as Cedarwood, Peppermint, Copaiba, and Lavender to create a one of a kind aroma that is positive and uplifting.  How to Use Topical: Best if diluted with a carrier oil such as fractionated coconut oil (FCO) or jojoba oil to minimize skin sensitivity.  Aromatic: Use 8-10 drops for ever 100 mL of water.  Caution: Do not use directly on skin.
