Spyderco Lil' Native Wharncliffe C230GPWC – 2.47″ Satin CPM S30V Wharncliffe Blade, Black G-10, Compression Lock

Spyderco Lil' Native Wharncliffe C230GPWC — Straight-Edge Cutting PowerThe original Wharncliffe blade pattern was created by an English nobleman who believed a perfectly straight cutting edge and an acute point would dramatically improve the pocketknives of his day. The Spyderco Lil' Native Wharncliffe C230GPWC proves him right, pairing that classic profile with a compact 2.47" full-flat-ground blade in premium CPM S30V stainless steel. A straight edge concentrates cutting force along its entire length, so the Spyderco Lil' Native Wharncliffe C230GPWC excels at push cuts, board work, and any task where control matters more than belly. Stainless steel liners anchor the stout Compression Lock and the open-backed frame, and they are nested into peel-ply-textured black G-10 scales. At 2.5 ounces with an ambidextrous tip-up wire clip, it is a serious EDC pocket knife in a genuinely pocketable size. A Wharncliffe blade, like the one on the Spyderco Lil' Native Wharncliffe C230GPWC, has a completely straight cutting edge with a spine that curves down to meet it at a fine, acute point. That geometry gives precise tip control and even edge contact across the whole cut. What steel is the Spyderco Lil' Native Wharncliffe C230GPWC made from? The Spyderco Lil' Native Wharncliffe C230GPWC uses CPM S30V, an American powder metallurgy stainless steel widely regarded as a benchmark for EDC blades thanks to its blend of edge retention, toughness and corrosion resistance. How does the Compression Lock on the Spyderco Lil' Native Wharncliffe C230GPWC work? The Compression Lock on the Spyderco Lil' Native Wharncliffe C230GPWC pinches a leaf-shaped liner spring between the blade tang and a stop pin. Releasing it means pressing the spring aside from the spine of the handle, so your fingers never cross the path of the closing edge. How do I sharpen the Spyderco Lil' Native Wharncliffe C230GPWC? A straight edge is one of the easiest shapes to sharpen. Lay the full-flat-ground edge of the Spyderco Lil' Native Wharncliffe C230GPWC flat against a stone or Sharpmaker rod, keep a consistent angle with no sweeping motion needed, and strop off the burr. Is the Spyderco Lil' Native Wharncliffe C230GPWC legal to carry? The 2.47" blade on the Spyderco Lil' Native Wharncliffe C230GPWC sits well under the three-inch limit common to many US jurisdictions, which is part of the Lil' Native design brief. Check your local and state knife laws before you carry. Is the pocket clip on the Spyderco Lil' Native Wharncliffe C230GPWC ambidextrous? Yes. The Spyderco Lil' Native Wharncliffe C230GPWC comes with an ambidextrous wire clip that can be mounted for tip-up carry on either side of the handle. What is the Spyderco Lil' Native Wharncliffe C230GPWC best used for? The Spyderco Lil' Native Wharncliffe C230GPWC is best used for everyday cutting where precision counts: opening packages, breaking down cardboard, cutting cordage and detail work. Its straight edge and acute tip make it a standout EDC pocket knife. Where can I buy the Spyderco Lil' Native Wharncliffe C230GPWC?
