Lightweight Rennbugel Handlebar

Lightweight is a fan of European safety standards. They're typically more stringent than the US standards. And Lightweight knows they can built to the tougher standards and still make something lighter than anyone else. That's what's amazing about their Rennbugel Handlebar.   166g for a 40cm center-to-center bar. Insanely light. But it's also super-stiff, in a comfortable semi-anatomic shape, and a position that is comfortably in the middle of today's offerings.   The bars have a 31.8mm diameter and can be mated to any 31.8mm handlebar clamp stem. The drop is 136mm and reach is 79mm. The shape is rounded from the top to the drops, and then slightly anatomic from the brake lever to the bottom of the hooks. This means easier transitions from the tops to the hoods and more bar to hold onto in the drops.   Carbon-fiber has another advantage besides light weight and stiffness. Vibration-damping. These bars take the edge off the road by filtering the vibrations through the orientation of the fibers and the designs of the plies.   The Lightweight Rennbugel Handlebar is for every bar-wrenching weight-saving fiend.
