Surges in excess of 500 volts are shunted to ground. Installation: Attach each black lead to Line 1 and Line 2 supplying power to pressure switch or control box and attach white lead to ground. Application: 120 or 240 volt single phase 2-wire or 3-wire well pumps or any other 120 or 240 volt motor. Installation instructions are included.
