The Troia Light Travertine Rectangular Shower Base combines hand-carved natural stone with refined elegance, delivering a spa-quality foundation that transforms everyday showers into luxurious bathing experiences. Built from 1st quality travertine stone with a honed and filled surface, this rectangular pan brings warmth, durability, and timeless beauty to modern and classic bathrooms alike. Dimensions & Design: Generous 32"W x 48"L x 3"H (81cm x 121cm x 8cm) rectangular footprint fits standard and custom shower installations. Hand-carved construction ensures each piece is uniquely finished, with natural variations that celebrate the stone's geological character. Premium Material & Surface: Crafted from 1st quality travertine, a natural sedimentary stone formed from mineral-rich water. The honed and filled surface provides a sophisticated matte appearance that resists slipping while maintaining elegant aesthetics. Stone thickness ranges from 2–3cm for structural integrity. Temperature & Durability Resistant: Travertine holds up to dramatic temperature fluctuations without cracking or shifting, making it exceptionally stable through heating and cooling cycles. The naturally porous structure creates gentle, comfortable underfoot feel. Drain Configuration: 8.5cm drain hole accommodates standard plumbing (drain sold separately). Properly sloped surface directs water efficiently toward drainage for seamless everyday use. Chemical-Free & Natural: Natural stone construction means no synthetic materials, fillers, or harmful chemicals—creating a healthier bathing environment for families seeking chemical-free solutions. Packaging & Protection: Shipped in heavy-duty wooden crates designed specifically for natural stone, ensuring your shower base arrives in perfect condition ready for installation. Natural stone absorbs and retains heat, making your shower feel warmer and more comfortable, especially in cooler climates. Unlike synthetic alternatives, travertine creates an authentic spa-like retreat with its organic warmth and tactile beauty. Each slab is unique, meaning no two showers are exactly the same, giving your bathroom a personalized, one-of-a-kind aesthetic. Maintenance is straightforward with proper care: avoid harsh cleaners, acidic products (lemon, vinegar), and maintain periodic resealing to preserve the stone's appearance and protect against moisture absorption. The honed finish elegantly conceals daily wear, ensuring your investment ages beautifully without appearing weathered. This shower base is an investment in lasting durability—travertine's proven track record in bathrooms and wet areas spans centuries, offering timeless sophistication that never goes out of style.
