Light from Light

By Michael Papazian   "The primary aim of this volume is to make clear to the reader the light of the spirit that shined in the life of the Armenian people in the first Christian centuries and which was transformed into the radiance and superabundance of light by the presence of Christ and the foundation of the Armenian Church. The author of this book presents the history of the Armenian Church with an interesting approach. He often pauses in the course of the narrative to investigate the topics and to detail the circumstances of their origin and consequences, such as the heresy of the Paulicians or the iconoclast movement. Yet he journeys along with the history of the Church, and his personal experience makes him a traveling companion of history. This book is easy to read and immediately enriching." -Excerpt of forward by Archbishop Oshagan Choloyan   SIS Publications (2006)
