Life to the Full

"Life to the Full"? Isn't that a line borrowed from the gospel of John? So why make it the subtitle of the book ? Let me explain. Several words appear over and over again in the general letters, and "life" is one of them. These me did not write to impress the scholars. They did not write to enhance their resumes. They wrote because they had found life, and wanted pass it on. Of course it is not just mastering seven epistles that yields the abundant life. The entire word of God comes into play. Yet the life described and guaranteed in these dynamic and timeless letters is the very life of Jesus Christ. And because he lives forever, according to Hebrews 13:8, today we too can enjoy life to the full. Dr. Douglas Jacoby presents a careful exposition of the epistles of James, 1 and 2 Peter, 1, 2, and 3 John and the letter of Jude. An inquiring mind appreciates helpful facts and illuminating data and this exposition provides that.
