Life 5000 Filter 1 Carbon Block Vitamin C Ceramic Filter

The Foundation of Clean Ionized Water Your Life Ionizer 5000 produces incredible alkaline water – but only when its filters are working properly. The Replacement Filter #1 is your ionizer's first line of defense, capturing contaminants before they ever reach the ionization chamber. When this filter is fresh, your water tastes cleaner, your ionizer runs more efficiently, and every glass delivers the quality you expect. This first-stage filter combines three proven technologies: high-density solid block carbon, granular activated carbon, and proprietary Vitamin C Ceramic Block® media. Together, they create a comprehensive barrier against the contaminants that make tap water taste harsh and potentially harmful. What Filter #1 Removes From Your Water Municipal water treatment keeps water safe from bacteria, but it leaves behind chemicals and byproducts that affect taste and quality: Chlorine and chlorine taste: The most common complaint about tap water – that harsh chemical taste and swimming pool smell Sediment and particles: Fine dirt, rust, silt, and debris that cloud your water and can damage ionizer components Volatile organic compounds (VOCs): Chemical compounds from industrial processes, pesticides, and household products Bad tastes and odors: Musty, metallic, or chemical tastes that make water unpleasant to drink Turbidity: Cloudiness from suspended particles that affect water clarity and appearance Triple-Technology Filtration Filter #1 uses three distinct filtration media working in sequence: Solid Block Carbon (20×50 mesh, iodine value 1450): Dense carbon structure traps fine particles while providing maximum surface area for chemical adsorption – removes chlorine, VOCs, and organic compounds Granular Activated Carbon: Complements the solid block by capturing additional chemicals and improving flow rate – targets taste, odor, and remaining chlorine compounds Vitamin C Ceramic Block®: Proprietary technology that neutralizes chlorine and chloramines through natural ascorbic acid reaction – gentler on skin, adds mild antioxidant properties to your water The Vitamin C Advantage What makes this filter unique is the Vitamin C Ceramic Block® technology. Unlike standard carbon-only filters, this media uses natural ascorbic acid to neutralize chlorine and chloramines through a chemical reaction rather than just adsorption: Neutralizes chloramines: Many municipalities now use chloramines instead of chlorine – harder to remove with carbon alone, but Vitamin C handles them effectively Reduces scale buildup: Helps prevent mineral deposits from forming in your ionizer, extending equipment life Enhances water quality: Adds a mild antioxidant effect that supports the ionizer's hydrogen-producing capability Gentler on skin: Chlorine-neutralized water is less drying and irritating for sensitive skin Key Features & Specifications Designed specifically for Life Ionizer 5000 countertop model First-stage filtration position – water's initial purification step High-density solid block carbon (20×50 mesh, iodine value 1450) Proprietary Vitamin C Ceramic Block® technology Filter capacity: Up to 800 gallons or 8 months of typical use Easy-Notify Filter Change™ alerts when replacement is needed Simple snap-in installation – no tools required Genuine Life Ionizer replacement part When to Replace Filter #1 For optimal water quality and ionizer protection, replace Filter #1 every 8 months or 800 gallons – whichever comes first. Signs it's time for a new filter: Easy-Notify Filter Change™ indicator alerts you Water flow has noticeably decreased Chlorine taste or smell has returned Water appears cloudy or has visible particles It's been 8+ months since your last filter change Filter #1 vs. Filter #2: What's the Difference? Your Life 5000 uses a two-filter system where each filter has a specific job: Filter #1 (this filter): First-stage – focuses on sediment, chlorine, and VOCs with carbon and Vitamin C technology Filter #2: Second-stage – provides additional purification plus KDF media for heavy metal reduction Both filters work together: Replace both on schedule for complete protection Keep your Life Ionizer 5000 running at peak performance with a fresh Filter #1. This first-stage filter protects your ionizer and ensures every glass of water is as clean and pure as the day you installed your system. Order today and taste the difference fresh filtration makes.
