LF Closed Front Skid Steer Brush Cutter | Heavy-Duty Attachment

Overview Heavy-Duty Skid Steer Brush Cutter for Serious Land Clearing If you’ve ever dealt with pastures, trails, or fencelines overrun by stubborn brush, tall weeds, or small trees, you know how frustrating and time-consuming cleanup can be. That’s where the Loflin Fabrication Closed-Front Brush Cutter steps in. Built in the U.S.A. and engineered for durability, this skid steer brush cutter is designed for heavy-duty land clearing tasks that go far beyond ordinary mowing. This isn’t just a mower deck bolted onto a frame. It’s a purpose-built skid steer brush cutter attachment designed to chew through thick vegetation, saplings up to 4″ in diameter, and dense overgrowth that would stop lighter cutters in their tracks. With its closed-front design, it contains debris better, reducing risks to operators and equipment nearby, while still delivering aggressive cutting power. At the heart of the LF Closed Front Brush Cutter is a direct-drive hydraulic motor. Unlike gear-driven cutters that rely on multiple moving parts, this brush cutter has fewer weak points, which means fewer breakdowns and lower long-term maintenance costs. Oversized tapered roller bearings, grease-packed and wire-protected, ensure smooth operation and minimize oil leaks. The blades are forged, heat-treated, and bi-directional—so you can cut in both forward and reverse, increasing efficiency in tight spaces or when clearing awkward terrain. That means less time spent repositioning and more time getting work done. With heavy ¼″ reinforced steel construction, it’s built to withstand the punishment of rocks, stumps, and uneven terrain. Available in 60″ and 72″ widths, and compatible with both low-flow and high-flow hydraulic systems, this heavy duty brush cutter is versatile enough to pair with a wide range of skid steers and compact loaders. For farmers, ranchers, and landowners, this attachment becomes a vital tool in daily operations: maintaining fence lines, clearing overgrown pastures, reducing fire hazards, and reclaiming land quickly without hiring contractors. By owning one, you stay in control of your property management, cut down costs, and gain the freedom to tackle tough clearing jobs whenever they arise. In short, the Loflin Closed Front Brush Cutter isn’t just another attachment—it’s your go-to solution for reclaiming overgrown land, maintaining safe pastures, and keeping your ranch or farm running smoothly. specifications Specification Details Product Name LF Closed Front Brush Cutter Type Skid Steer Brush Cutter Attachment Width Options 60″ or 72″ Cutting Capacity Saplings/brush up to 4″ diameter Drive System Direct-drive hydraulic motor Hydraulic Flow Available in low-flow and high-flow versions Blade Design Forged, heat-treated, bi-directional blades Bearings Oversized tapered roller bearings, grease-packed Construction ¼″ reinforced steel deck Safety Closed-front design with front safety chains Compatibility Universal skid steer quick-attach mounting Weight (approx.) ~1,165 lbs (72″ model) Manufacturer Loflin Fabrication (Made in USA)   features Direct-drive hydraulic motor for reliability Closed-front deck for better debris control Forged, bi-directional blades cut in both directions Oversized, grease-packed roller bearings for durability Built from ¼″ reinforced steel for heavy use Compatible with low-flow or high-flow skid steers Available in 60″ and 72″ widths benefits ✔ Cuts brush & saplings up to 4″ ✔ Safer closed-front debris control ✔ Heavy-duty U.S. construction ✔ Lower maintenance direct drive ✔ Forward & reverse cutting power ✔ Saves time and labor costs additional information The Loflin skid steer brush cutter is built for operators who demand more than a simple mower.
