Lezyne Radar Drive Light Rear

The Lezyne Radar Drive Light Rear is a rear bike light built around active vehicle detection — not just visibility. Its custom-tuned radar system continuously monitors the road behind you and detects approaching vehicles from up to 150 meters away, triggering an automatic high-intensity alert flash when traffic closes in. Whether you are riding in early morning light, through traffic-heavy roads, or in conditions where a standard taillight is not enough, the Radar Drive operates as a genuine safety system rather than a passive presence on your seatpost. The light integrates into three distinct configurations depending on your setup. On its own, it functions as a fully autonomous radar taillight — running its own flash pattern that activates automatically when a vehicle is detected, with no phone or computer required. Paired with the Lezyne React Drive front light via the Radar React System, the two units work together to deliver audio and visual alerts through the front light, creating a connected safety loop that operates completely independently of external devices. For riders who want data integration, the Radar Drive connects via dual Bluetooth and ANT+ to compatible GPS bike computers and the Lezyne Radar Ally app (iOS and Android), feeding real-time vehicle alerts directly to your handlebar display or phone. All three modes are available from a single device. Seven output modes give you full control over beam behavior, with the 300-lumen daytime flash designed to be disruptive enough to register in high-ambient-light conditions where a standard rear light goes unnoticed. Runtime reaches up to 20 hours, the housing is IPX7 waterproof with USB-C charging, and the 270° lens optics maximize side visibility. The co-molded construction keeps weight at 144g while the strap-mount system — with included D-post and aero post adapters — fits round, aero, and D-shaped seatposts securely. Specs at a Glance Radar Detection Range: 150 meters rear vehicle detection Max Output: 300 lumens (daytime flash) Output Modes: 7, including automatic vehicle-detection alert flash Runtime: Up to 20 hours Visibility: 270° engineered lens and optics Weight: 144g Dimensions: 78 x 48.9 x 47.6mm Waterproof: IPX7 Charging: USB-C Connectivity: Dual Bluetooth + ANT+ App Compatibility: Lezyne Radar Ally app (iOS and Android) GPS Computer Compatibility: Compatible with Garmin, Wahoo, and other ANT+/Bluetooth GPS devices System Compatibility: Pairs with Lezyne React Drive Front (Radar React System) Mount: Strap-based; includes D-post and aero post adapters; fits round, aero, D-shaped seatposts Construction: Co-molded, lightweight Color: Black SKU: 1-LED-43R-V104 Design Benefits Active Detection, Not Passive Visibility: Most rear lights make you visible to drivers — the Radar Drive detects them first. The 150-meter radar range gives you advance notice of approaching vehicles before they reach you, and the automatic alert flash triggers a response that a static taillight cannot match. It changes the dynamic from reactive to proactive. Three Integration Modes in One Device: Standalone operation, system pairing with the React Drive front, and GPS/app integration all run from the same hardware. You can start with the light operating solo and add a GPS computer or the Radar Ally app later without changing equipment — the dual Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity handles both simultaneously. Built for All-Condition Riding: IPX7 waterproofing, 20-hour runtime, and USB-C charging make this a light you can rely on for long days and unpredictable weather. The 300-lumen flash output is calibrated for daylight visibility — the range where most road incidents occur — not just low-light riding.
