The ideal fit allows sufficient room to slip two fingers between the collar and your dog's neck.  METHOD 2:  Measure using a piece of string and then measure the string with a rigid ruler. The ideal fit allows sufficient room to slip two fingers between the collar and your dog's neck.  METHOD 3: Measure an existing collar that they are wearing from the center of the buckle to the hole you are using to secure a proper fit. The ideal fit allows sufficient room to slip two fingers between the collar and your dog's neck. PRODUCT ADVICE: To prevent the collar from becoming brittle and losing its supple feel, refrain from exposing it to excess water wear. CARING FOR YOUR COLLAR: Nurture your leather collar to keep it in top shape. Regularly apply a bit of leather wax to uphold its quality and provide protection. If (or when) it gets wet, allow it to air dry naturally. Keep in mind that leather's inherent texture might display minor color deviations and delightful imperfections. *Only available for shipping in the US
