Levante Vinato

Note: Anemone ship starting in late September based on availability and your zone, unlike other products. Plant around or after your first frost but before the ground freezes.  This gorgeous Levante Anemone features fully double blooms in a rich wine color, often producing 10 to 20 petals per bloom. It thrives in partial to full sun, growing to a height of 16” to 24”. The bold coloring and unique petal density make this flower a prized pick for bouquet florists. Levante Vinato is sold in packs of 10 for fall planting.  Planting Instructions:  Plant in fall for Zones 7–9 and in spring after the last frost for zones 4-6. Growers in zones 4-6 will need to dig and dry corms yearly and replant in the spring.  1. Soak Corms in room-temperature water for 4–6 hours before planting. 2. Choose a full sun to part shade location and well-drained soil. Amend with compost if needed. 3. Plant corms 2–3" deep and space 3–6" apart.  4. Water after planting and keep the soil moist but not soggy using a low-nitrogen fertilizer when shoots and buds appear.
