Leucidal Liquid Radish Root

Leucidal® Liquid Radish Root Anti-Microbial Radish Root is the best all-natural alternative to synthetic preservatives. It is a cosmetic ingredient used in the manufacture of skincare and cosmetics. Now available in three sizes: .5, 4, or larger 16-ounce! If you use organic products or make your own skincare recipes at home, you probably have a refrigerator overflowing with skincare products. Unfortunately, fresh products without a preservative only last a day or two. If you don't want to go to the fridge whenever you want to use your moisturizer or revitalize your complexion, try our Leucidal® Liquid radish root ferment. This natural antimicrobial increases your beauty and skincare products' shelf life without adding any harmful synthetic ingredients. Fermented with lactic acid bacteria (Leuconostoc Kimchii), Leucidal® Liquid provides a degree of protection against mold, yeasts, and bacteria. It has a light, natural scent. The natural scent won't overpower any lotion, cream, or serum. Plus, it's water-soluble, making it easy to mix with your homemade or existing products. When creating homemade recipes, be sure to challenge test your concentration of Leucidal® Liquid to ensure that you're adding enough to protect against bacteria and other harmful growths. This is a mild antimicrobial and will not keep skincare products fresh indefinitely. Adding Leucidal® Liquid and storing it in a cool, dry place can improve your product's shelf life. ECO-CERT has approved its use with certified organic cosmetics. It is also on the Whole Foods Premium list of accepted preservatives. If you are a beginning formulator, use a 4% concentration. A 2-4% concentration of Leucidal® Liquid is an effective antimicrobial natural alternative to synthetic preservatives. If your formula is water-based, consider using Leucidal Complete. To protect your recipe, you can also consider adding preservatives such as Geogard 221 (gluconolactone and sodium benzoate).  We also recommend microbe or challenge testing of all end eco formulations.
