Let's Go For a Walk

With just a few brushstrokes, Mackenzie Thorpe captures the deep bond and nostalgic warmth between a man and his dog, walking together in perfect sync. Dogs have long inspired artists—Picasso had Lump, Hockney had Stanley and Boodgie—and for Mackenzie, it began with his childhood dog, Chip, followed by many others. Their special place in our hearts is reflected throughout his work, where they appear as enduring symbols of loyalty and love.
