Each shirt is pigment dyed and treated for a sun faded vintage finish, then heavily distressed and finished with rip-and-repair detailing hand embroidered by artisans in India. The graphic features Maxwell’s equations, the mathematical description of electromagnetism and light, as a tongue-in-cheek take on the biblical creation story: “And God said, Let there be light.” The idea was inspired by an old tie-dye T-shirt we once spotted in the window of Squaresville in Los Angeles (and have regretted not buying ever since). 100% Cotton – Signature heavyweight cotton jersey.
