Lepidolite Wire-Wrapped Pendant with Cord

Lepidolite is a lithium-rich mica mineral prized for its soft lilac-to-lavender color, traditionally associated with calm and emotional balance. This piece is a natural lepidolite stone, roughly 1.25–1.75" long, hand wire-wrapped and strung on an included cord — ready to wear straight out of the box. The fine mica structure gives each stone a gentle shimmer that catches the light as you move. Quick facts Stone Lepidolite Composition Lithium mica (potassium lithium aluminium silicate) Hardness (Mohs) 2.5 – 4 Color Lilac, lavender, soft purple Origin Brazil, Madagascar, USA, Zimbabwe Chakra Crown & Third Eye Traditionally used for Calm, emotional balance, easing stress Care / Water-safe Soft mineral — minimal water, dry quickly Meaning & history In crystal tradition, lepidolite is one of the best-known calming stones, prized long before it was understood as a lithium-bearing mineral. Its soft violet tone has made it a favorite for those seeking steadiness through stressful seasons. Many people connect it to the crown chakra and a settled, quiet mind, and reach for it as part of a broader practice for stress relief and inner calm. How to wear it Wear the pendant daily as a gentle, grounding accessory, or slip it off and hold it for a few quiet breaths when a moment feels overwhelming. Some people place it on a nightstand or altar during meditation. Because it hangs from the included cord, it layers easily with other necklaces and pendants without competing for attention. Pair it with our Lepidolite Tumbled Stone Pendant for a matched set in two different cuts. Care & cleansing Wipe the stone with a soft, dry cloth after wear. Avoid soaking, swimming, or showering in it, since lepidolite is soft and can absorb moisture or flake at the edges. Store it separately from harder stones so it does not get scratched, and keep the cord away from heat. Frequently asked questions What is the Lepidolite Wire-Wrapped Pendant with Cord, and what is it for? It is a natural lepidolite stone, wire-wrapped and strung on a cord for wearing as a pendant. In crystal tradition lepidolite is associated with calm and emotional balance. This is a decorative/symbolic piece, not a health product or medical device. Is lepidolite water-safe? Treat it as minimal-water. Lepidolite is a soft mica (Mohs 2.5-4) that can flake or dull if soaked, so a quick rinse and immediate dry is fine, but avoid long soaks, ultrasonic cleaners, and steam. Can I wear this pendant every day, and is it sun-safe? Yes, the wire-wrap is designed for regular wear. Short sun exposure is fine, but avoid leaving it in direct sun for long periods, as prolonged heat and light can fade the lilac color over time. How do I cleanse and charge it? Many people cleanse lepidolite with sound (a singing bowl or bell), by smudging with smoke, or by resting it near selenite overnight. Avoid water-based cleansing methods given its softness. How can I tell my lepidolite is genuine? Genuine lepidolite shows a soft lilac-to-lavender color with a fine, glittery mica shimmer under light, and it will show tiny cleavage flakes at the edges rather than a glassy, uniform surface like dyed glass imitations. What does lepidolite pair well with? Lepidolite is often paired with amethyst or rose quartz for a calming combination, or with our Lepidolite Tumbled Stone Pendant for a matched two-cut set.
