This lustrous 1.75 inch Lepidolite Crystal Heart exhibits rich rosy to magenta to violet hues punctuated with gold and silver sparklies. It is a rich & deep sparkling magic heart stone which fits easily in the hand and is sure to be useful in any body work, massage, self treatment and meditation. Lepidolite is a rare form of highly lustrous mica which forms within granite rock formations containing substantial amounts of lithium, the relative amount of lithium in the lepidolite producing the characteristic color range from white to pink to magenta to violet. Lepidolite crystals are created from sheets of lithium aluminum silicate, bonded together by clouds of potassium ions. Tabular and prismatic crystals of lepidolite form in nature, and lepidolite is often found within a matrix of other materials, producing the characteristic appearance of the lepidolite in these hearts. Lepidolite can expedite the transformation of conflict into the harmony of a successful transition. Lepidolite facilitates physical ease and mental relaxation. By helping to transform the mental hyperactivity of being locked in "conflict mode" into the calm clarity of the Witness within, lepidolite facilitates increasingly conscious access to Higher Mind and inner spiritual guidance. The color magenta is associated with the third eye chakra in the Western chakra system. The third eye chakra, known as Ajna in Sanskrit, is located on the forehead, and is connected to the pituitary gland. Opening the third eye chakra is considered a major feat of yoga. Opening the third eye brings clairvoyant vision, and proficiency in creative visualization and manfiestation. Lepidolite is associated with those Deities who preside over third eye functions, especially ParamShiva, and Lady Isis of the Night Sky. Lepidolite can be used to help energize the third eye chakra. Energizing the third eye chakra can alleviate eye strain, banish nightmares, counteract depression caused by lack of faith and trust in the future, and generally relax body and mind. Thus lepidolite is an ideal material to create a massage wand for perfectly tuned intuitive body work of all kinds!
