Svaram Leonardo Swing Chime

Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's Vitruvian Man, this swing chime translates the master's geometric principles into sound. The tuning reflects the ideal proportions of the human body as musical intervals, embodying Leonardo's vision of humanity as a microcosm of the universe. The chime's design captures the dynamic balance between earthly and celestial realms—the square representing earth, the circle representing universal energy. When played using the Leonardo protocol, the chime produces a sonic journey that mirrors the archetypal movement of perfect equilibrium, allowing your spirit to resonate between heaven and earth through the transformative power of sound. These bars are 1" rather than the standard 3/4 inch for other Svaram chimes.  These leads to a deeper and more resonant tone. The Svaram Leonardo Swing Chime produces a carefully orchestrated harmonic sequence in C, G, F, and A—intervals that create both mathematical precision and emotional resonance. The progression encompasses a perfect fourth between C and F, a perfect fifth from C to G, while the A note functions as a major sixth above the fundamental C and a major third above F. This sophisticated tonal architecture yields a soundscape that balances dynamic movement with profound tranquility, making it an ideal instrument for meditation spaces, healing environments, or contemplative listening.
