Lemon Calcite Moon #02

156g / 0.344lbs / 5.50oz 3.07" x 1.76" x 1.15" Lemon calcite is a fairly recent discovery that originated in Pakistan and its color can range in just about every shade of yellow and even a full-bodied gold. The range of colors are due to the amount of iron impurities within each stone. This talisman is associated to the Solar Plexus Chakra, which relates to authenticity and personal power. It invites self-examination and growth through positive change. Lemon calcite is said to help structure, focus and amplify thoughts and information. It is also thought to transmit positive energy to others. Because the color yellow is associated with clarity, communication, and happiness, lemon calcite is believed to help balance and strengthen all of these. Calcite is a calcium carbonate mineral with a hardness of 3. Calcites are among the most varied and abundant crystals, and they occur in a wide variety of forms and colors. The molecular structure of the crystals is rhombohedral, but specimens can appear as scalenohedrons, rhombohedrons, prisms, masses, stalactites, etc. Calcite makes up a major part of most marbles and limestones. Calcite crystals are found on every continent. Large deposits of brightly colored Calcites occur in Mexico, and some of the most desired forms, such as Stellar Beam Calcites, are found in the USA.
