Lemon Balm Mint Seeds

Looking to add a little zing to your stems? Meet Melissa, yes, that’s her real name and she’s bringing the citrus-scented charisma to your garden and bouquets. With softly serrated, heart-shaped leaves in vibrant green, Lemon Balm is the cool, confident herb who smells like sunshine, looks like a dream, and plays well with every flower in the bunch. Lemon Balm Mint is a bushy, herbaceous perennial with a rapid growth rate and a big personality. It's lush foliage adds delicate texture and volume to arrangements, making it an ideal filler for cottage-core, wildflower, and market-style bouquets. And that lemony fragrance? A total mood-lifter, fresh, calming, and full of main character energy. It’s low-maintenance, full of life, and thrives in full sun or partial shade. But don’t be fooled by it's mellow vibe, it can spread fast and wide, so container planting or thoughtful placement is key. Like any herb with star power, it performs best when harvested in the morning (after the dew, before the heat), and stems should be well hydrated before arranging to keep it looking perky and fresh. Whether you’re styling it fresh or drying it for later, Melissa brings lasting joy and a splash of citrus magic to any setting. A Word of Caution When Growing Mint Mint may be refreshing and easy to grow, but it’s got a wild side. Known for its vigorous growth and tendency to spread by underground runners, mint can quickly take over garden beds if left unchecked. Its aggressive root system doesn’t play nice with more delicate neighbors, often outcompeting other plants for space and resources. To keep this herbal powerhouse in check, consider planting mint in containers or using root barriers to prevent it from turning your garden into a mint-only zone.
