Leighton House Plan

Quiet elegance is found throughout our Leighton home plan, a stunning British Colonial home that boasts multiple outdoor living spaces, specialty ceiling treatments and state-of-the-art amenities. This elegant floor plan bas 4958 square feet of living area. In total, this house plan has four bedrooms and four and 1/2 bathrooms. It is designed with a slab/stem wall foundation. The Leighton begins with a barrel-vaulted covered entry that leads into the formal rooms, which are open, yet contained by defining arches and columns. Fireplaces abound in this home, with multiple units making the study, living room, leisure room and lanai cozy. The master retreat features a private garden and lots of windows to welcome sunlight. The upper level offers three guest suites and a versatile bonus room. Details both romantic and practical are found around every corner, like the living room's striking bow windows. A soaring portico and stately turret create an unforgettable facade. Inside, the foyer opens to views of a grand staircase, formal dining room and a wide-open living room that is as impressive for its soaring two-story ceiling as it is for the gorgeously detailed, two-sided fireplace that is shared with the study. But Leighton's treasures do not end there. The master suite encompasses one whole side of the plan and delights with an art niche foyer, private lanai access, dual walk-in closets and dual vanities in a luxurious bath overlooking a private master garden. A casual living zone is on the opposite side of the first floor arranged in an open layout. The gourmet kitchen is open to a dining nook and leisure room with built-ins. Through French doors on the far side of the leisure room, a lanai with a full outdoor kitchen and fireplace beckons. The second story echoes the classic elegance of the first floor with tray and vaulted ceilings in the bedrooms, walk-in closets and overlooks to both the living and leisure rooms.
