Legacy

GCC Legacy 647X AAA#16855217 • Angus OCC MISSING LINK 830M Sire. GCC TOTAL RECALL OCC JUANADA 741K OCC EMBLAZON 854E DAM. GCC JODY 900U RR JODY 3323 For the ones that want just a little more grow than the Gold Standards and don’t want to sacrifice calving ease use Legacy. He will give you a little more size, and they are beautiful cows from a great cow family. He has been used in several 500 to 1000 cow operations that breed all their first calf heifers to him and they just don’t have any problems. We had one of our top producers who runs 1000 cows and just uses Legacy on his heifers that said his Legacy calfs are only 30 pounds behind his mature cows calfs at weaning. That is pretty good for your first calf heifers. He said, “you better get those calves tagged within the first hour or you won’t be able to catch them,” they are as vigorous as an bull we have when they are born and they come easy. As a mature bull Legacy is something to be admired.  He will tip the scale with overall muscle, rib, shape, and mass. He is producing daughters that are perfect uddered and beautiful patterned. He comes with the Griswold Cattle stamp of approval for calving ease. His dam hails from the 066 cow family that started it all for our family. Owned with. CDS Cattle, Duke Ranch & Bourquin Cattle Co.
