Magnesium and potassium are essential to support already healthy blood pressure.1-3 However, the intake of these two minerals from your usual diet is often insufficient.4 So we’ve created a magnesium/potassium supplement that promotes cardiovascular health and helps maintain already-healthy blood pressure levels. Magnesium for fast and extended absorption Your body uses magnesium for a wide range of essential biological reactions. It promotes heart, arterial, bone, muscle health and more.5-8 Magnesium helps maintain blood pressure levels already within normal range by relaxing the smooth muscles in your blood vessels and supporting blood vessel function. It also helps inhibit inflammation to support arterial health.2,8 Magnesium also helps transport potassium and calcium across cell membranes, which promotes healthy heart rhythms and supports cardiovascular health.9 Potassium with Extend-Release Magnesium is made with both magnesium oxide and magnesium citrate. It is optimized for both immediate and prolonged uptake to ensure you get the maximum health benefits. Potassium, magnesium’s sister mineral Potassium is involved in many of the same biological reactions as magnesium. Acting as a counterbalance to sodium, it supports vasodilation, or the expanding of your blood vessels. This, in turn, encourages healthy blood flow.10-12 Potassium also encourages the body to expel sodium through urine, which supports cardiovascular health.13 Conducting a comprehensive analysis of the evidence, researchers concluded potassium supplements help support blood pressure already within a normal range.3,14 Potassium is also important for the transport of electrical signals in the heart to support a steady heartbeat.13,15 Magnesium-potassium supplementation and blood pressure These two major mineral nutrients work together to encourage cardiovascular health and support already healthy blood pressure.
